The reflection tool MAX (Motivation- Acquisition-Extension) is based on Autonomous Learning theory which will enhance the student’s analytical skills. This tool consists of a MAX grid in which students have to complete unfinished sentences (express an opinion and give reasons for one’s point of view) usually after learning activities in a written form. In the grid, 3 things show learner’s motivation, 2 things give the evidence of the acquisition and one thing demonstrates learner’s readiness to extend the acquired, to apply in practice.
